Mel Wheatman from Portage received her 45-year tournament participation pin during the Indiana State Women's Championship Tournament in Terre Haute. This was Mel's 49th tournament, missing only 2008 and the 2 years that the national women's tournament was held in Indiana. Mel is 90 years young and will be eligible for her 50-year pin when she bowls in Lafayette in 2012. |
